Welcome to the weekly edition of “The Dump” — a round-up of curated vintage, secondhand, or handmade things I have bookmarked from around the internet that are looking for a new place to call home.
I, like many, love to spend hours scrolling pages and pages of Chairish in search of sexy vintage home goods and antique visual eye candy. Yet more often than not, I am merely a window shopper — most of the shipping costs are absolutely crazy-banana-pants-out-of-control. There are definitely gems to be found, but I usually treat Chairish as an inspiration jumping-off point to hunt for the real steals and deals on places like eBay and Etsy.
When it comes to home decor, I’m not exactly someone who fits into one vibe. I would be happy living in a charming, rustic log cabin or spooky, haunted Victorian mansion or a cute, cozy 1920s bungalow. It was a struggle when we finally decided to shop for our “dream” house because really, it could have been just about anything (historical.)

I’m convinced our 1953 midcentury rambler found us, despite the fact the previous owner subjected the kitchen to some truly heinous renovations that I’m anxious to undo. Filling our home with forever things is a lesson in patience. The slow, very slow, process of restoration has been a reminder to relax and take a deep breath, find pieces we actually love, and embrace the perfectly mismatched chairs and rug-less corners until stumbling upon the right thing. (Do y’all want Trash Panic home content? A peek inside the very big plans we have for this space? A look at how I stripped the paint from an entire room of wood paneling the previous owners painted over?)
So, without further ado, here are some things I’ve bookmarked from around the internet that I think would spice up any space!
