Happy Sunday, Trash Heads✨
I’m back, bitches! (kind of)
I am feeling absolutely #blessed, blown away, and blissfully overwhelmed having so many new internet people join this tiny baby corner of the internet. I know everyone is reaching their *max capac* for newsletter content and I am grateful to be taking up valuable real estate in your inbox (and hope you’ll stick around for the wild ride.)
Speaking of inboxes, mine is always open — I’d love to hear your comments, feedback, and what you’d love to see more of in this space.
While I have plenty of ideas and drafts bouncing around my brain lava lamp (I’ll be back to my regularly scheduled programming in September!), the rest of August is reserved for soaking up the last days of Midwest summer (The State Fair) and literally touching grass before I hibernate for fall and winter.
But in the spirit of keeping the people fed with vintage and secondhand delights, I thought it best to get my monthly edition of The Dump out to you a week early so you don’t forget I exist — so let’s get into it!
Thank you for being here! Your support means a lot to me (and probably my therapist, who hears too much about my fear of stepping through the cringe.)
xoxo, G
Welcome to “The Dump.”
An end of the month round-up of 40 curated vintage, secondhand, or handmade things I have bookmarked from around the internet that are looking for a new place to call home. No essays — just a collection of items I’ve come across in my treasure hunting adventures. Prices vary from affordable to luxury and span the categories of clothing, accessories, furniture, home goods, decorations, toys, etc etc.
Swoop up the riches, share it with your friends, let it inspire a secondhand hunt of your own and join in on saving something from ending up in “the dump.”
Have you purchased something through seeing it on Trash Panic? Reply to this newsletter and send me a photo of you wearing it/how you’ve styled it/where it lives in your home/etc I would love to see.
serge lutens coffee table book ($107.24, ships from Japan)
Serge Lutens is now best known for his perfume, but he is also a fashion designer who had an incredibly modern eye for highly editorial photography back in the day.
